How do I enter my initial bank balance?

1. Select the bank

Choose which bank account you want to perform transactions with. In the "Accounting bank" field, click the pencil icon and select the bank.

Note: If you are unable to select a bank account, link the bank accounts with the relevant accounts.

2. Register the bank balance

Once you select the account, buttons "Create (D)" and "Create (C)" will appear, allowing you to create a debit or credit entry. To enter the opening balance, select "Create (D)" for a debit entry.

In the opened table, fill in the fields:
To create a new entry, click the "+" button next to the item.
Initial client — select your company from the customer list.
Date — enter the date for which you want to upload the general ledger balances.
Account — specify the intermediary account, i.e., account 99.
Amount — enter the bank account balance for the specified date.

Once the entry is saved, you can check which accounts have been registered.
