Available for Registration

During this stage the domain is yet to be registered and is available to the public. To secure the domain name, it can be purchased on this page. At Site.pro, a domain can be registered from 1 to 6 years depending on the TLD.

Active

In this period, the domain is registered and active for the purchase duration (from 1 to 6 years depending on the TLD). By default, the domain will auto-renew closer to its expiration date.

Grace Period

If the domain is not renewed and expires, it enters the grace period, which can last from 0 to 42 days depending on the TLD. During this period the domain becomes inactive but still can be renewed without any additional fees.

Redemption Grace Period

If not renewed during the Grace Period, the domain will enter its Redemption Grace Period for about 30 days. While in this period, the domain can be renewed for the normal renewal fee plus an additional redemption fee that varies depending on the TLD.

Pending Delete

Once the domain expires and is not redeemed during the Grace and Redemption Graces periods, it enters the Pending Delete status. At this stage, the domain cannot be redeemed and will be deleted within 5 days (in most cases). After deletion, the domain is available for purchase to the public again.
